Signature items include Cabbage Baked in Embers, Half Chicken Salsa Verde, 48 oz. Dry-Aged Porterhouse, and Coal Roasted Carrots with sheep’s milk ricotta, herbs, honey, and black pepper. Four complimentary house sauces accompany each meal, including Smoked Paprika Chimichurri, Red Wine-Chipotle Barbeque Sauce, J.1. steak sauce, and an Herb Spiced Vinegar. Additionally, there is a selection of tartares which includes Lamb with fermented turnips, juniper, pine nuts, and dried figs and Aged Duck with radish, watercress, and fennel.
The beverage program offers spirit-forward interpretations and approachable riffs on classics, such as the Midnight Margarita with tequila, charcoal, and lime and Chophouse Martini with vodka, smoke, and olive, alongside a selection of local, craft beers including Santa Monica Wit and Smog City Hoptonic IPA. The wine selection of approximately 40 includes crisp California whites and rich French reds from some of Citrin’s favorite producers, including Au Bon Climat and Soliste Cellars.
